The 2017 STIHL & VIKING Catalogues are out NOW!

The new STIHL & VIKING catalogues are available from 1st February and we can’t wait for you to see some of the great new products for 2017!

Some of the most exciting developments surround our 36 V COMPACT Cordless System that was launched last year. We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback about this range,

CCS which has led to the addition of the new MSA 140 C-BQ chainsaw and the MA 235 VIKING mower, both of which are powered by our lightweight Lithium-Ion batteries. We have even introduced a larger capacity battery for the COMPACT Cordless system to keep you working for longer.

A smaller and more affordable range of 18 V Lithium-Ion cordless tools is being launched in Summer 2017, including a hedge trimmer, blower and grass trimmer. These tools, with their integrated batteries, are perfect for smaller gardens and priced at just £99 inc VAT (RRP).

Don’t worry if you need something larger for your garden – the new STIHL 4-MIX® engine has been introduced on a number of STIHL tools to deliver efficiency and performance alongside simpler servicing. You can find these improvements on the larger engines in our Kombi System, our two petrol powered pole pruners and across five of our landscaping brushcutters, amongst other machines.VIKING mower Talking of petrol power, VIKING‘s engineers have been busy developing our new range of 6 Series petrol lawn mowers, ideal for large lawns (up to 2,500 m2). With a mono-comfort handlebar on all models, they are easy to use and simple to store, whilst the multi-blade on each mower offers 3 options; collecting the clippings into a grass catcher box, cutting and dropping it, or mulching it back onto the lawn as a natural fertiliser. Either way, you can be sure that the 6 Series will deliver an impressive cut every time. We’ve also introduced a more powerful VIKING engine to the highly manoeuvrable MR 4082 ride-on tractor, which is perfect for lawns up to 4,000m2.

Professional STIHL users will enjoy the introduction of our new backpack blowers; the BR 450 C-EF with electric start and the BR 700. The BR 700 is our most powerful backpack blowers ever and still benefits from the STIHL anti-vibration system, so it‘s comfortable to use with the high-performance you expect from STIHL.
