The MSA 60 C-B is a lightweight, battery-powered chainsaw that is perfect for cutting firewood and tidying-up around the garden. Part of the STIHL AK System of battery tools, it uses interchangeable AK batteries that can be used in other tools in the range.

Quiet and easy to use, it is packed with useful features like the Quick Chain Tensioning so you can tighten the chain without tools, the Ematic chain lubrication system which uses up to 50% less chain oil and the QuickStop Super chain brake. It also has a clear oil tank for improved visibility of the chainsaw’s oil level and a sleek new design.

The MSA 60 has an excellent cutting performance and low vibrations, as well as an impressive battery working time of up to 40 minutes using the recommended AK 20 battery, which will give you around 120 cuts in 10 x 10cm timber.

You'll have the log store stocked in no time!

  • Run time on recommended AK 20 battery: Up to 40 minutes
  • Run time on AK 30 battery: Up to 55 minutes

Please note that video tutorials showing you how to mount the bar and chain and add oil for our battery chainsaws can be found here:

If you also need Personal Protective Equipment to wear with your chainsaw, our Chainsaw Personal Protective Equipment kit is a great option if you are an occasional user.

When using a chainsaw, you must always take the correct precautions. Please fully read the Instruction Manual before using a chainsaw and always wear the correct personal protective equipment.

If you are in any doubt about how to use a chainsaw correctly, we recommend speaking to your local STIHL Approved Dealer first. Many dealers offer a Click & Collect service, where you can order online then collect it in person where a trained member of staff can give you a full handover and instructions on how to operate the machine.

Please note you should never use a chainsaw whilst on a ladder and should only use it in a tree if you have the appropriate qualifications.
