The GTA 26 is our first battery-powered garden pruner, and is the ideal tool for small pruning tasks, cutting up garden waste and even small DIY jobs.
Designed to be comfortable and simple to use, the GTA 26 has comfortable, rubberised handles so it is easy to control. It also features a moving protective hood, a charge level indicator and tool-free chain replacement.
The GTA 26 comes with an AS 2 battery, an AL 1 charger, a bottle of Multioil Bio for lubricating the chain and a carry case, which also has eyelets on the back so it can be mounted on the wall, for neat storage. Please note; if you buy the GTA 26 without a battery or charger, it does not come with the carry case or Multioil Bio.

QHow long does the battery last?
A: The battery will last up to 25 minutes or enough time to make around 80 cuts in 4cm branches. This does depend on what is being cut and how the tool is being used.
QHow long does it take to charge?
A: To fully charge an AS 2 battery it takes 70 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 55 minutes.
QIs the battery included in the set?
A: Yes, the GTA 26, battery and charger are all included and all come in a handy fabric carry case too. If you buy the tool-only version without the battery or charger, the carry case is also not included.
QHow long is the bar on the GTA 26?
A: The bar is 10cm long.
QWhat should I wear when using the GTA 26?
A: We recommend that you wear snug-fitting clothes, goggles, gloves and sturdy boots or shoes, and tie back long hair.
QAre the batteries interchangeable?
A: The AS 2 battery works exclusively with the products in the AS System and is not compatible with the HSA 25.

#1Cleaning your GTA 26
When you have finished using the GTA 26, remove the battery and clean with a soft cloth.
#2Looking after your battery
Don't use a damp or wet battery in your GTA 26 and avoid using them in extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold). Find out more about looking after your battery.
#3Storing your GTA 26
Store your GTA 26 in a clean and dry area and keep out of the reach of children at all times. The GTA 26, battery and charger can all be packed away in the handy carry case.
#4Using your GTA 26
You should hold the GTA 26 with both hands - one hand should hold the main handle, whilst the other hand should rest on the top handle to guide the tool through whatever you are cutting.
