AS 2 battery for AS System tools

Compatible with the tools in the STIHL AS System, the AS 2 10.8 V Lithium-Ion battery weighs just 0.22kg and is designed to be well-balanced in all of the AS System tools. The working time with the AS 2 battery depends on which tool you are using it in. You can fully charge the battery in 80 minutes using the AL 1 charger.

The AS 2 battery can be used in any of the following tools: 

• GTA 26 pruner
• HSA 26 shrub shears
• SEA 20 vacuum
• FSA 30 grass trimmer
• HSA 30 and HSA 40 hedge trimmers

Please note that the AS 2 battery is not compatible with the HSA 25 shrub shears.

Using the AL 1 charger, you can fully charge this battery in 80 minutes, or you can charge it to 80% in 60 minutes.

Tips

#1Looking after your battery

Don't use a damp or wet battery in your tools and avoid using them in extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold). To find out more about looking after your battery, read our blog post.

#2Storing your battery

Take your battery out of the tool you have used it in and store it separately in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight and ideally in some packaging, such as cardboard, to protect it, at a temperature between -10°C and 50°C. Don't forget to keep it out of reach of children.
