The AL 5 is a hi-speed battery charger for fast charging of the STIHL AS 2 battery, which can be used with all tools in the AS System, including the GTA 26 garden pruner, HSA 30 hedge trimmer or the FSA 30 grass trimmer.
You can fully charge an AS 2 battery in 50 minutes using the AL 5 charger – that’s 30 minutes faster compared to the AL 1 charger!
The charger has an LED indicator which shows you when the battery is charging or is fully charged. It has a Velcro cable strap to keep the cable tidy when not in use and the charger can also be wall mounted to a wall in your workshop or garage.
Please note that this cannot be used to charge the battery for the HSA 25 shrub shears.
